There are times in your life, you feel like you won’t be able to get up when you fall down. There are times in your life when blankness of future is just too extreme. You tend to think you are not just good enough to live. You tend to overthink sometimes about what others feel about you.

Such thoughts tend to evolve when you are feeling depressed. Depression extracts all your energy and everything that makes you feel better. Overcoming depression isn’t as easy as people think. It takes a lot of time when you start feeling better.

You can overcome depression once you start thinking positive. Start small and build up from there. Start doing the things you are good at. Do things which make you feel better like going on a walk, talking to your best friend. You may not have the same energy that you had before, but you need to start from somewhere.

In this process, you need to be patient enough to get the positive results and also celebrate every small success that comes your way. These steps may seem small, but believe me, if you are feeling positive, you’ll soon find yourself feeling better.

How to get out of depression?

1)    The first person who will know that you are feeling depressed is you. Always stay connected to the outside world. Share your feelings with at least one person who is really close to you.

2)    Start exercising every day. Doing exercise can be really tough at the time you are depressed, but you energy level will definitely improve once you start to exercise.

3)    Sleep well but don’t oversleep. To avoid getting stressed, take mandatory 8 hours of sleep every day.

4)    Do not skip the food. Eat healthy food and try to increase intake of vitamin B. Vitamin B helps in overcoming depression. Eat green vegetables, chicken.
