One of every 5 humans being these days is having an allergy of one kind or another. Allergy can be of various types including food allergy, seasonal allergy etc.

What is an allergy?

It is overstressed response from the immune system which is related to common substances such as food, environment etc. Allergy-producing substances are called “allergens” Which includes pollens, dust mites, food, protein etc. Whenever an allergic person comes in touch with Allergan, the immune system of human body gives a response via IgE antibody.

How is allergy caused?

The immune system of the body develops a defense mechanism to handle such situations and reacts to those substances known as antigens. In normal circumstances, antigens lead to an immune response through the production of antibodies, which are protective proteins that are targeted against antigens. The antibodies are pretty much protective in nature and help in destroying the foreign particles. But the person who is having allergy suffers from different type of antibody called immunoglobulin E, or IgE,
